The Humboldt Area Foundation aims to create a thriving, just, healthy, and equitable region through four decade-long goals. Increasing racial equity, thriving youth and families, healthy ecosystems, and a just economy are key focus areas. The foundation supports various initiatives, including the Klamath Boys and Girls Club of the Yurok Tribe, Arcata Fire District, and Southern Humboldt Community Healthcare Foundation. Grants are distributed to promote climate resilience, support local programs, and enhance community well-being. By addressing these critical needs, the foundation helps build a brighter future for all residents in the Pacific Redwoods Region.
