From its base in Maroochydore and regional hubs across Queensland, Suncare delivers government-funded aged care programs such as Support at Home and the Commonwealth Home Support Program, offering tailored plans that reflect each person’s goals, preferences and lifestyle rather than a one‑size‑fits‑all approach. Their model of care is built on trust, respect and genuine connection, with local care partners who “get to know you, not just your care plan,” so support feels like a conversation instead of a checklist. Suncare’s services cover a wide spectrum of daily living and health needs, including personal care, domestic assistance, nursing and community nursing, allied health, exercise physiology, assistive technology and home modifications, home and garden maintenance, transport to appointments and social outings, respite for carers, social groups and activities, and meal support through programs such as Meals on Wheels. With more than 50 years’ experience, the organisation focuses on “making people’s lives better” by coordinating care, navigating My Aged Care and NDIS interfaces where relevant, and regularly reviewing services so that support can adjust as health, mobility or personal circumstances change over time.
