The Music Artists Coalition was founded by a group of long-time music industry power players and world-renowned musicians to help protect the rights and livelihoods of music creators in a swiftly evolving digital landscape. MAC serves to be the voice of and for songwriters and performers in all related legislative efforts, advocating solely on their behalf without any conflicts of interest or ulterior corporate motives. Having built a solid foundation of work in the first few years after formation, the advocacy group saw the need for additional structure in how their efforts were being communicated to the greater public, current & potential musician members, and aligned partner organizations. Working behind-the-scenes with the Executive Director, we helped them build a thorough catalog of brand communications essentials like key messaging recommendations, media contacts database for PR outreach, and strategic positioning statements.
