EMKAAN designed the Al Fanar School in Dubai with unique white pointed-dome classrooms arranged in clusters around curved paths. The layout encourages creativity and exploration, inspired by Islamic architecture, feng shui, and the movement of koi fish. The school’s fluid design promotes inclusivity and collaboration, with interconnected spaces and natural light. Skylights on the domes create changing patterns of light, connecting students with nature. The school also features an educational farm and community spaces. This design aims to nurture resilience, adaptability, and creativity in students, while reflecting Dubai's cultural diversity.
