After launching a new Laravel and Next.js platform, BlueWater Dive Travel experienced a noticeable drop in conversions. The platform presented multiple critical bugs affecting booking flows, the admin panel, and overall data integrity. Complex third-party integrations reduced system reliability, while poor Core Web Vitals performance, especially on mobile, created additional friction for users. The lack of solid technical documentation further slowed down iteration, debugging, and long-term improvements. Buzzvel joined the project during a critical phase, with the platform affected by significant technical debt and multiple legacy issues impacting stability, performance, and lead generation. The main challenges included: • Resolving critical bugs across key user journeys • Improving performance on high-traffic, data-heavy search pages • Restoring reliability across core booking and conversion flows

Buzzvel started with a deep technical discovery to fully understand the existing codebase before introducing any changes. The platform was progressively stabilized through a sprint-based approach, addressing critical backend, frontend, and integration issues. Booking flows and admin operations were fully restored, while a client-provided design was implemented to ensure visual consistency without compromising performance. UX and navigation improvements reduced friction across key journeys, supported by focused optimization of Core Web Vitals and mobile performance. This work evolved into a full redesign and refactoring of 27 page types, with a strong emphasis on: • Performance and scalability • Optimization of search and conversion flows • A clearer, more intuitive user experience A custom administration panel was also developed, enabling the Bluewater team to efficiently manage content, listings, and bookings at scale.

The platform regained stability across all critical booking and content management flows. Conversion performance recovered following the technical and UX improvements, while overall usability and reliability improved significantly. Security standards were strengthened, reducing operational risk, and a custom dashboard was developed to give the internal team better visibility and control over website management. With solid documentation and a scalable architecture in place, BlueWater Dive Travel is now positioned for continuous optimization and long-term growth.
