Structures | Alair is one of Charleston’s premier custom home builders, building exceptional residential properties in the Lowcountry for decades. A longtime Colophon New Media partner, their team brought us a unique challenge: preserve the excellent custom WordPress design and theme while refreshing the website with a rebuilt sitemap, new key pages, and modernized content. The Structures team partnered with the talented team at at Hey Milk Truck for content strategy and support.
What was the main challenge in this project?
Rather than a full redesign, the goal was to refresh without losing what already worked. The website needed sharper storytelling, updated photography, an SEO-focused sitemap (including new Locations pages), and refreshed core page designs — all while keeping the look and feel intact for their brand.
What was your solution or approach?
The result is a gorgeous, refreshed digital experience that preserves Structures | Alair’s elegant design while modernizing the content and sitemap. Sharp new designs, updated imagery, and thoughtful navigation bring the portfolio to life and guide prospective clients through a clear journey from inspiration to inquiry.
