The Multihull Company, a longtime partner of Colophon New Media, recently unveiled a new homepage alongside a series of dynamic “mini-sites” for their Offices and Team Member pages. As a global leader in yacht brokerage, the Multihull team continues to expand their reach, brand partnerships, and local presence across markets worldwide.
This initiative was designed to support that growth by creating a more flexible, scalable digital structure. A dynamic database was the core net-new requirement for telling the story of each office’s and individual broker’s capabilities in these “mini-sites”.
What was the main challenge in this project?
The core challenge of this project was data architecture. The Multihull website contains a large and complex database of content, including:
– Offices
– Team members
– Brands
– Events
– News and media
– Customer relationship management
– And many more areas…
Each of these elements needed to relate to one another in meaningful ways. The goal was to create automatically populating pages that could dynamically tell the story of each office and broker without duplicating content or introducing significant manual maintenance overhead.
What was your solution or approach?
Colophon New Media worked closely with the Multihull team to expand and refine the site’s underlying data relationships. Using our Three-Phase Development Process, we:
– Designed new homepage and mini-site layouts for Offices and Team members
– Built structured relationships between News, Events, Boats/Brands, Offices, and People
– Created a system where relevant content automatically populates based on those relationships when properly tagged
– Ensured each page remains easy to manage while supporting future growth
This approach allowed us to condense complex information into a dynamic, scalable system that supports both storytelling and performance.
What was the outcome or impact for the client?
The result is a powerful new digital framework that highlights The Multihull Company’s expanding partnerships, global offices, and expert team members. Each Office and Team mini-site now tells a complete, localized story—supported by dynamically generated content that stays up to date automatically. The Multihull website is also a testament to Colophon New Media’s work as the top website developers and web hosts for the marine industry.
We’re proud to continue supporting The Multihull Company as they grow their global footprint and reinforce their position as leaders in the yacht brokerage space.
