McDonalds Saddlery changed hands in late 2025 with the new owners committed to growing the brand. The owners approached Marmoset to rebuild the ecommerce store and website from the ground up.
What was the main challenge in this project?
The main challenge was importing years and years worth of data, including products, variations and images. The import occurred during the design and development phase so that the store operated flawlessly on launch.
What was your solution or approach?
Our approach was to strip away old products that didn't suit the Western Saddlery theme of the store, and add new products prior to relaunch. During the final stages of development we trained the new owners in best practices for creating new products and imagery.
What was the outcome or impact for the client?
A new site that competes with the worlds leading saddlery stores. The site offers Afterpay as well as credit card payment, in addition to free insurance for all deliveries.
