At 4por4, we were challenged to develop the new Porto Tourism website, a strategic project created to reinforce the positioning of the North region as a leading tourist destination.
What was the main challenge in this project?
The website was designed to support the destiny communication and facilitate access to tourist information, serving as a central access point to information about the region. The website allows all the visitors to know Porto and Northern Portugal, as well as discover what to do, explore experiences and itineraries, and plan the visit in a simple and intuitive way.
What was your solution or approach?
The website was developed following a user-centric approach, based on a clear and well-structured information architecture. From a visual perspective, the design uses a contemporary language with a strong focus on images and videos, contributing to an inspiring and engaging experience.
What was the outcome or impact for the client?
Each element has been designed to reinforce the destination's identity and convey the cultural, heritage and natural diversity of the North region. The result is a functional, versatile website designed to communicate with different audiences and markets, reinforcing the digital presence of Porto and Northern Portugal.
