What was the main challenge in this project?
Security managers often face difficulty maintaining consistent communication with staff working in remote or volatile areas. Delays in reporting incidents, lack of real-time location tracking, and limited options during connectivity loss made it hard to respond effectively during emergencies. Additionally, there was a need for an organized system to log, categorize, and respond to a variety of on-ground incidents
What was your solution or approach?
Built a real-time incident reporting system through a mobile app to help field staff instantly notify security managers during emergencies.
Developed GPS-enabled tracking to let managers monitor user locations and suggest safe routes using Mapbox integration.
Implemented a "Panic Mode" that captures live audio and sends priority alerts until the situation is resolved.
Designed a predefined list of incident types to simplify and standardize user reporting.
Integrated satellite device compatibility to ensure continuous app performance in areas with no mobile network.
